Frigate 5? I guess this means you want to fly elite frigates then? For that purpose I would actually say Caldari because of the Crow...

its hard to test minmatar with equal low level skills and get a valid result. the problem is accuracy plays a large role on your dps. so with weak skills you really dont get a good feel for the amount of damage possable in one volley.
i really wish test server allowed for max skills in the tenth of the train time. you could get a good feel for what it could be like in the future.
minmatar takes ALOT of skilling. they use so many things. i think they are overall the best once skilled right.
If you are wrong about this, im coming back in 3 years with a war dec.

Originally by: Nyxus Honestly at this point, you are dumb if you don't go Gallente. The reasons why are simple.
Good ships in every class. Cov ops, frigs, recons, cruisers, BS, Hacs, Command ships, etc
Good base resists on thier ships due to race.
Drone ships own at close range. OWN.
Long range Gallente ships are the easiest to fit.
T2 Railguns are the rail specialties for *TWO* racial ships. If you don't like the Mega at long range, soon you can just use the new Caldari Railboat by training Cal BS to lvl 4 or 5.
That last one is not to be underestimated. If you go Amarr or Matari and change your mind, T2 large weapons will take you 2 months to train, on top of the 1 month for the new BS to lvl 5.
Makes all the sense in the world to train up for Gallente if you like turrets/Drones or Caldari at this point.

I would like some oldtimers view on this. True or not?
